The $85/day rate includes:

Absolutely none. The price we quote is the price you pay. There is no driver accommodation surcharge, no fuel top-up fee, no tips obligation, and no commission scheme for hotels. Our pricing philosophy is 100% transparent — we believe surprises belong only in your Sri Lanka experience, not in your invoice.
Instead of choosing the $85 per day package, you can enjoy greater flexibility with our pay-per-distance option at just $1 per kilometer. This option allows you to plan your journey freely while keeping your travel costs fully under your control. You pay only for the kilometers you travel — clear pricing, complete transparency, and absolutely no hidden charges.
Yes, a small deposit secures your dates. The remaining balance is settled at the end of your tour. We discuss exact deposit terms during planning — it is always reasonable and clearly agreed upfront. We accept bank transfer, PayPal, and other methods based on your preference.
For groups of 5 or more, we may arrange a larger vehicle (van/minibus) which has a slightly different daily rate. We will advise you on the best vehicle option when you share your group size — the pricing remains transparent and agreed before booking.
About your private car and guide
We use clean, well-maintained air-conditioned private vehicles — typically a Toyota or similar comfortable sedan/SUV for 1–4 travelers, or a spacious van for larger groups. The vehicle is exclusively yours for the duration of your tour — no other passengers, ever.
Yes. Our driver guides are fluent English speakers with extensive knowledge of Sri Lanka's history, culture, wildlife, and food. They are friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing their beautiful island with visitors.

Yes. The $85/day rate gives you the vehicle and driver for a full day — typically from early morning until late evening. There is no meter running, no per-hour charge. If you want to start at 5AM for a sunrise visit, that's perfectly fine.
How to reserve your tour
We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance, especially during peak season (December–March and July–August). That said, we do accommodate last-minute requests when availability allows. Contact us as soon as you know your dates to avoid disappointment.
Yes. We understand that travel plans change. Cancellations made 7+ days before your arrival are fully refunded. Changes to your itinerary can be made at any time — even during your trip. We are flexible and always happy to adapt.

Accommodation freedom
You have complete freedom. We never force or commission hotel bookings. You can book your own accommodation — budget guesthouses, boutique eco-lodges, or five-star resorts — and we will drop you at each one. If you want recommendations, we are happy to suggest options for every budget.
No — this is included in our rate. Unlike many operators who ask clients to pay for the driver's meals and accommodation separately, our pricing covers everything on our end. You never need to worry about or pay for driver expenses.
Transfers and practical travel
Yes. Airport pickup is included on your tour's first day. Your driver will be waiting at arrivals with a name board, ready to begin your adventure the moment you land. We monitor your flight and adjust for any delays — at no extra charge.
Yes. We can arrange early morning departures for iconic sunrise experiences (like climbing Sigiriya or Adam's Peak). Night travel is also possible for special events or late airport transfers. Just let us know your preferred schedule during planning.
